This website is created, operated and hosted using Squarespace.

When you visit the website, Squarespace processes technical information necessary for the operation, security and provision of the website. This may include your IP address, browser information, device information and information about your use of the website.

The Squarespace Activity Log is disabled.

Squarespace provides functionality for managing cookies and consent and states that website operators can, in particular, disable the Activity Log, control non-essential Analytics cookies and use a cookie banner for EU/UK visitors. (Squarespace GDPR guidance)

2.4 Squarespace Analytics

I use Squarespace Analytics to understand how my website is used and to improve its content and functionality.

Depending on your consent and the technologies used by Squarespace, this may include:

This website uses cookies and similar technologies.

Some cookies are necessary for the operation, security and basic functionality of the website.

Non-essential cookies, particularly Analytics and performance cookies, are only activated after you have given consent.

You can make and manage your cookie choices through the cookie banner.

2.6 Customer accounts

For certain products, particularly Creative Compass, you must create a customer account.

When creating and using a customer account, the personal data required for this purpose is processed, in particular your name, email address and the login information required for your account.

Where necessary for creating and administering your customer account and providing access to purchased products, this processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

2.7 Purchases and payments

When you purchase a product or service through my website, I process the information necessary to complete and administer the purchase.

This may include:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Billing information

  • Order information

  • Payment and transaction information

  • Purchase history

Payments are processed through Squarespace Payments.

Squarespace Payments uses providers including Stripe for payment processing and Sift for fraud prevention and detection. These providers may therefore process personal data in connection with your payment.

I do not receive or store complete payment card details.

Processing necessary to complete a purchase is generally based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where statutory retention obligations apply, processing is additionally based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

2.8 Digital products

I offer digital products, including Creative Compass.

Creative Compass is offered as a one-time purchase and contains digital content such as videos, audio and PDF materials.

Following purchase, the necessary data is processed to process the order, administer your customer account and provide access to the purchased content.

The course area is provided through Squarespace.

Creative Compass also contains a link to a separate Skool community. Access to Skool is requested independently of the purchase process. Payment for Creative Compass is not processed through Skool.

2.9 Mentorship and other services

I also offer mentorship and other creative services.

When you book such a service, I process the data necessary to perform the contract. This may include your name, email address, contact details, appointment and booking information, and communications relating to the service.

Processing is generally based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

2.10 Contact form and email

If you contact me via the contact form or by email, I process the information you provide, including your name, email address and the contents of your message.

This processing is carried out in order to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to take pre-contractual steps or perform an existing contract.

I use Microsoft 365 for my business email.

2.11 Newsletter

I use Flodesk for my newsletter.

If you subscribe to my newsletter, I process your name and email address in order to send you newsletters and other marketing communications.

Subscription is only carried out after your express consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link contained in each newsletter email or by contacting me directly.

Flodesk processes the personal data provided by me as a data processor. Flodesk has published a current Data Processing Addendum for EU data protection law which includes, among other things, Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

2.12 YouTube

This website embeds videos from YouTube.

YouTube is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited and the Google group of companies.

When embedded YouTube videos are loaded or played, information may be transmitted to Google. Depending on the technical configuration, this may include information about the page visited, IP address and use of the video.

Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are controlled through the cookie banner.

Google's applicable privacy policies also apply to processing carried out by YouTube/Google.

2.13 Social media links

This website contains links to my social media profiles and other external platforms.

These are ordinary external links and not embedded social media feeds or social media tracking plugins.

When you click on such a link, you leave my website. The privacy policies of the respective provider apply to the processing of personal data on that platform.

2.14 Transfers to third countries

Some of the service providers I use may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred to a third country, the transfer will be carried out on the basis of a legally permitted transfer mechanism under the GDPR, including an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another legally recognised safeguard.

2.15 Data retention

I retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or where statutory retention obligations apply.

In particular, commercial, tax and accounting retention requirements may require certain data to be stored for longer periods.

Once the relevant purpose has ceased and any statutory retention periods have expired, the data will be deleted unless another legal basis permits its continued storage.

2.16 Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data

  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data

  • Right to erasure

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to data portability

  • Right to object to certain processing

  • Right to withdraw consent

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

For questions concerning data protection, you can contact me at:

info@sain.haus

2.17 Data security

I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, destruction, alteration, unauthorised access or other unlawful processing.

3. Terms & Conditions

3.1 Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and use of digital products and services offered by Stacy Taylor through SAIN.

3.2 Digital products

Digital products are generally provided for personal use by the purchaser.

Without prior written permission, the content may not be:

  • resold

  • commercially distributed

  • made publicly available

  • uploaded to third-party platforms

  • made available for use by other people

3.3 Intellectual property

All content and materials provided through SAIN, including texts, workbooks, audio, video, exercises, methods, frameworks, images and other materials, remain protected by copyright and, where applicable, other intellectual property rights.

Purchasing a product or service does not transfer ownership of or other rights to the underlying intellectual property unless expressly agreed otherwise.

3.4 Customer accounts

Where a customer account is required for a product, access is personal and may not be shared with other people.

Login details may not be passed on to third parties.

3.5 Skool

Where a product includes access to a Skool community, access is requested separately via the link provided within the product.

The terms applicable to the Skool platform also apply to your use of that platform.

3.6 Mentorship

Mentorship services are provided according to the scope, duration and number of sessions stated on the relevant offer page.

A mentorship offer may, for example, consist of individual sessions or a six-month programme consisting of six one-hour sessions and email support.

Where instalment payments are offered, these are charged through Squarespace Payments according to the payment arrangement stated at the time of purchase.

3.7 Updates to digital products

Digital products may be updated, expanded or improved over time.

Where a product is expressly advertised as providing “Lifetime Access”, this means access for as long as the relevant product is offered, subject to technical availability and mandatory legal provisions.

3.8 Liability

My liability is governed by applicable statutory law.

A limitation of liability does not apply where such limitation is prohibited by law.

4. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

4.1 Statutory right of withdrawal

Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts.

The details and statutory exceptions depend on the type of contract concerned.

Special statutory rules apply to digital content supplied other than on a physical medium.

4.2 Digital content

For a paid digital product such as Creative Compass, the right of withdrawal may expire if the statutory requirements for this are fulfilled.

This requires, in particular, that:

  • you expressly agree that performance of the contract begins before the end of the withdrawal period;

  • you confirm that you understand that you lose your right of withdrawal as a result of this agreement once performance begins; and

  • the legally required confirmation of the contract is provided.

These requirements arise in particular from §356(6) of the German Civil Code (BGB).

The relevant consent and confirmations are obtained during the purchase process.

4.3 Services

For services, including mentorship, the statutory provisions governing the right of withdrawal and the early commencement of services apply.

Where you expressly request that a service begin before the withdrawal period has expired, specific statutory provisions may apply.

4.4 No general refund guarantee

Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Where there is no statutory right of withdrawal, cancellation, warranty or other right to a refund, there is no entitlement to a refund solely because a digital product has already been made available or a booked appointment is not attended.

5. Ordering Process

Before completing a paid purchase, the legally required information about the relevant product or service, price, payment conditions and essential characteristics will be provided.

For consumer contracts concluded through the website, the ordering process will be designed in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.

In particular, the button used to conclude a payment obligation will clearly indicate that the order creates an obligation to pay.

Order and contractual information will be confirmed and made available in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.

6. Changes to These Terms

I may amend these terms where necessary due to changes to my services, website or legal requirements.

For contracts that have already been concluded, the terms agreed at the time of conclusion of the contract generally apply, unless otherwise provided by law.
